إنْ كانَ على ظَهْرِ الأرضِ أحد يُقيم احتفال أو مَدح أو تمجيدٍ لأيِّ أحَد بأيِّ دافِع، فوالله خالقِ السَّمواتِ والأرْضِ لا أحَقَّ في السَّماءِ ولا في الأرضِ مِن جميعِ الخَلْقِ أنْ يُحتَفى بهِ، ولا يُحتَفل بهِ، ولا تُذْكَر صِفاتُه، ولا يُمْدَح مِن محمد بن عبدالله بن عبدالمطلب بن هاشم بن عبد مناف، مَن أحَق؟!، أيُّ مخلوقٍ أحَق؟!؛ لا إنْس ولا جِن ولا ملائكة فضلاً عمن سواهم.
وإيش ذا العالَم المملوء بالاحتفالات: بالرئيس الفلاني والوزير الفلاني، وصاحب النَّادي الفلاني، وصاحب المؤسَّسة الفُلانيَّة، وصاحب الحِزْب الفلاني، واحتفالات وهَجَّات ورَجَّات، إيش هذا؟!.. إيش هذا؟!، وإيش مَرْجِع هذا؟!، وإيش مَصْدَر هذا؟!.
إنْ كان أحَد يَحِق أنْ نَحتفِل بهِ ونَمدحُه فأحَبُّ محبوبٍ إلى الرَّب، أقْرَب مُقَرَّب عند الإله، صاحب المقام المحمود، صاحب الحوْض الموْرُود، الرَّحمة للعالمين هو أحَقُّ أنْ يَحْتِفل به جميع العالمين صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وصحبه وسلم.
If there is anyone on the face of the earth whom people have reason to celebrate, praise, or honor for any reason whatsoever, then, by Allah, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, no one in the heavens or on earth is more deserving of being honored, celebrated, spoken of with praise, and having his virtues extolled than Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Abd al-Muttalib ibn Hashim ibn Abd Manaf. Who could be more deserving? What created being could be more deserving? No human, no jinn, no angel, let alone anyone else.
Just look at this world, filled with celebrations: celebrations for this president or that minister, the owner of this club, the head of that institution, the leader of this party, celebrations, festivities, fanfare, and all manner of commotion. What is all this? What is all this? What is its basis? Where does it come from?
If there is anyone who truly deserves to be celebrated and praised, then it is the one most beloved to the Lord, the closest of those brought near to Him, the possessor of the Praiseworthy Station, the possessor of the oft-visited Pool [al-Hawd], the mercy to all the worlds. He is the one most deserving of being celebrated and honored by all the inhabitants of the world.
May Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him, his family, and his Companions.
